Connecting Over Cocktails & Jazz

Join us for an evening of networking, cocktails & jazz. We'll be starting off the night with a panel talk on "Lessons Learned from Women Starting Their Businesses". Our goal for the event is to create a platform for women of all walks to be inspired, encouraged, and educated by experienced entrepreneurs. 

Meet fellow freelancers and business owners while you sip on some delicious cocktails from One Bedford and enjoy live jazz. 

This event is organized by Freelancing Females, Polish American WE, & One Bedford. All are welcome. This is an event to indulge in the opportunity of networking, resourcing, and most importantly to unify as a community.

What to expect:

-Complimentary cocktail on arrival from One Bedford & light bites. 
-A moderated Panel featuring Karolina Zmarlak, Tia Meyers, Meesen Brown & Agata Golubiewska. 
-Networking with fellow business owners. 
-Live jazz music

Meet the Panelists:

Moderated by Patricia Galas- Patricia is the Director of Marketing Communications for Park Hyatt New York. She brings over 12 years of marketing, brand and advertising experience with her. 

Karolina Zmarlak- As a fashion designer, Karolina develops modern feminine silhouettes through innovative technical fabrice and structured variability with an aesthetic driven by her Polish Heritage. 

Meesen Brown- Meesen is the CEO + Cofounder of Behere, the platform for women to live in cities around the world, without long-term contracts or obligations. She’s lived in over 8 countries and knows new places and experiences fuel inspiration and creativity. Check out Behere, gobehere.com

Agata Golubiewska- Chairman of the Polish & American WE with a management experience in both countries.

Tia Meyers- Tia is the Founder of Freelancing Females and works as a Social Media Consultant for brands including LG, JetBlue, Grado Labs and more.

What: 

Kick off the night with 2 curated 15 minute matches followed by an intimate conversation on what the hustle really means. Emily and Tia will discuss tactics for managing a side-hustle with a full time job. Dive into the how and when you should take your side hustle into a full-time hustle and offer tips on how they make their hustle work with time saving hacks and solutions.
